Finally finishing my craft room was when I decided to start writing my blog...............................
7 months later and I have decided on a name I’m happy with, phew. Decisions, decisions, How do you sum yourself up in a few words? In the end I chose a totally random mix of words that creates an amusing image in my head and I think that sums me up perfectly. I’m usually the person you see laughing to themselves (because I have remembered something amusing) or skipping down the street; come on who doesn’t like skipping. I’m finding myself becoming an advocate of this wondrous activity and the fact that it isn’t just for children! neither is walking along walls, balancing on kerbs and glitter (obviously).
Anywho getting back on track; my favourite materials are fabric and paper but I don’t discriminate and will try my hand at pretty much anything that looks fun. I also like baking and decorating cakes and gardening and collecting things, the list could go on but I will leave it there. So my blog will be about all these things, a way to show you what I’ve made, to share my ideas of things I want to make, to keep track of things that inspire me and when I find my blogging legs (does that work? I was thinking of when people say they have found their sea legs) maybe a tutorial or two.
So bear with me, I hope you enjoy the insight into my little world and I’ll look forward to getting to know you :)
To help you get to know me a few things you probably don't know about me;
1. My all time favourite word is Kerfuffle, or to be precise I love saying ‘What a Kerfuffle’

2. Frolic, discombobulated and quandary are my next favourite words, I just love words!
3. I collect glass paper weights, old cups and saucers, but sometimes just the the cup or the saucer I’m not fussy!, books because I want to have a library in my house and love reading,, small ceramic deer, although I only have one so far called flora who sits pride of place in the middle of my mantle-place I fully intend to acquire many many more, cats (only joking, or am I?, yes I’m joking but only just I would love to collect cats but not yet I’m saving that for when I’m an old lady)
4. I have 3 cats, called Pippin, Tofu and Chicken. dog off a children’s tv show; check, vegetarian food; check, farmyard bird; check :)

Leading on from that I want to own some hens when I grow up, but when
do you feel like a grown up, 26 years and it hasn’t happened yet! But I
definitely want some hens, one day; cue thinking face (everybody has
one) and daydreaming about going down the garden to see my lovely ladies
and collecting their fresh eggs. I have even bought a book on choosing
and looking after hens in the garden, so I'm all prepared. Well sort of :)
